Two- and three-screw pumps are used for handling oils or other lubricating and non lubricating liquids as well as liquids with poor lubricating properties.
The characteristics of the screw pumps are:

- very good efficiencies
- exceptionally low noise
- favourable suction lift capabilities by
  low NPSH values
